I was scarfing down my Amy's Complete Meals Enchilada Dinner (for lunch, 7 points) when I truly realized how shitty my work microwave is. There's nothing more vile than biting into the icy cold center of an enchilada. Shuddddder.
Last night, I had a slice of pizza. It was so good and I really had to run for the door in order not to order another. Then I ate oh, about 26 Trader Joe's mini-merengues (4 points, oh my teeth!) and went to bad. At 7:30pm. My boyfriend tried to wake me but apparently I growled at him. Don't wake a tired lady.
Getting up at 6am does NOT agree with me.
Also, my H & M sweater already has a hole it the sleeve. Curses!
Tonight I experiment with the infamous Tofu Shirataki noodles. I've been curious about them for a while and I finally located them at Whole Foods (and what a fucking ordeal THAT was). They were 2 for $3.99, not so bad, I guess. They are definitely gross-ish in the package - cold and slimy. I'm going to try them tonight with a Garlic and Herb Laughing cow, salt and pepper and some herbs.
2 point pasta with cheese sauce? It must be too good to be true.
Will report in.

I have a Whole Foods not far from me. Maybe for lunch I'll go and pick them up and try them out. Thanks for the tip. ;)

i'm curious what you'll think of the tofu shirataki noodles. i tried 'em a couple months ago. not so thrilled. but in retrospect, i made the hungry girlfredo (www.hungry-girl.com), and it might have been the recipe not the noodles that i was displeased with. i think i'd like to try 'em again. maybe as an asian stir-fry sort of thing or something.
anyway - not to be discouraging - there was certainly nothing bad - just not a meal i'd make again. but i love noodles - so i am tempted to try other recipes.

Please report on the noodles!! Hungry Girl RAVES about them, but I'm skeptical! Can't wait to hear about them :)
