You're so right about being able to resist when its all pretty and nice, but when its demolished 2 hours later we cave... like just because it isnt pretty it doesnt count?!

Stupid cake! GRRRR! Good luck on the promotion. And the freelance work! I need a part-time job so bad, but I'm just incredibly selfish with my time right now. Keep us posted on both. That goes without saying, but I said it, what?!
So, ummmm, glad it went okay with your dad. Now that he has less power over you, I wonder if he feels the change. It's awesome that you're making healthy changes for yourself, not because of family pressure.
