Well, I lost 2 lbs this week. The good news is that I'm chipping away at the chubbage I put on over the holidays (only 1lb left). The bad news is that I've been hovering between 178 and 181 for the last month. Blah. Now I'm 179.3. I'd like to get down to 175 by the end of February, which sounds totally attainable but I'm not going to have much time to work out because...

I'm working from 7am - 9pm. Yes, that will be my schedule for the next 2 or 3 weeks. This makes WW hard. I'm taking a friend's advice and eating smallish meals all day.

Today's menu:

WW muffin: 3 pts
Cinnamon oatmeal: 3 points
roast beef sandwich: 6 points
string cheese: 2 pts

Hopefully this will keep me going until dinner.

What an awful weekend. A death in my boyfriend's family and drama in mine. I need a serious vacation from all things family.

hang in there. quitting smoking is hard (just did it myself). and losing weight is hard (just did that too). and not having time to work out is normal (at least in my life). so it just takes a little longer to shed the pounds. but that's okay.
i looked back at my weight loss chart and i definitely had periods of 4 to 10 weeks with basically no weight loss - bobbing up and down in the same 5 pound range.
but i just added it up - i was actually dieting for 33 weeks. and i lost 23 pounds. that's .7 pounds per week on average. which is totally awesome really.
so seriously - you've done a lot so far - stick to the diet and exercise as much as possible - and know that you will get there.

by the way, i just bought new jeans this weekend - atrium is having a big sale. i bought 3 pairs of size 30. they look awesome. my ass actually looks good instead of huge in them and the thighs don't look like sausages. so remember how good that will feel to do the same in a few months. it feels like a long time, but it goes quick. i started in may!

Sorry you had a rough weekend! Try to hang in there and just try to steer clear of emotional eating (between your family drama, the death in your boyfriends family and working so much).
